The Dublin Guitar Night is a hugely popular monthly event presenting a range of guitar players across many genres. The last Tuesday of each month features four varied guitar acts and a focal point for players, guitar enthusiasts and music lovers alike. Organised and conceived by Jazz Guitar Legend Hugh Buckley, it has gone from strength to strength with over 50 guitarists of varying styles having performed so far
I had the privilege of playing at the inaugural Dublin Guitar Night in January 2013 and again at the Xmas one in December.
Since then a Dublin Guitar Quartet (pictures below) was formed comprising of Myself, Hugh Buckley(Jazz), Darragh O’Neill (Classical) & Pat Farrell (Blues) and we have played at a number of festivals and showcases with a very exciting gig coming up near the end of this year.( All will be revealed, stay tuned…..)
I was invited back to play at the 15th Dublin Guitar Night in March 2014.
